From all the info on it, looks to be so.

Yes it is Kyle that is the only drawback. This game would be so much fun coop omfg but alas it is single player. Crying or Very sad

Anyone have any trouble being able to get a game at midnight at Wal-Mart? Been kind of a night-owl lately and just thought I might head out to get this one just for something to do.

not with big time titles, but I don't think Fallout3 is in that category with the mainstream. I am 97% sure they've had the game in their stock rooms for 4 days or more, so you'll just have to explain to the people working there all this and to give you your goshdarn game because the calendar just hit Oct28

Can you guys that maybe played fallout before tell me...or anyone that knows really - is it going to be more like Halo....or more like Oblivion or Mass Effect?

So far, I've yet to meet an RPG that I enjoyed.

Oblivion but instead of Swords and Magic, it will be with Weapons you create form the map. Nuclear weapons can be used.

yeah I think it's built on an augmented version of the Oblivion engine.

RPGs aren't about the action and I know this is a 1st person game and seems to be a triple A title, but I don't think it will have the shooter quality of a COD4. But that ain't the point, RPGs are a different kinda experience.

Like in NHL 09 you can drive the zamboner around to clear the ice between periods, but it won't be Gran Turismo

Yeah it is a lot like Oblivion.

Well get this...I tries to play a bit of Oblivion back when it first came out and I just couldnt get into it. Actually, I usually have a really hard time getting in to any RPG. However, after a 5 hour marathon on Fallout 3, I am becoming obsessed with this particular RPG (F3). At first I was getting frustrated but now I am enjoying the story.

My favorite part is exploring and getting clues to complete quests . Also my favorite part of the game play must be the targeting system when you press RB (or maybe it was LB) and depending on how much AP you have...you can target certain areas and get some gruesome head shots in.

I think the targeting system (VATS I believe) is my favorite part of the game too. This game is right up my alley b/c I am a quest freak lol.
