The game is truly awesome. XBL for it supports 16 players and you can fill in empty spots with bots that have amazing AI. You can also play the campaign online with up to 16 players that will give you your achievements. So we could line up 8 TPGE'ers on one team against other players or bots to gain achievements. The graphics are ok not great but the gameplay is fast, fun and furious. There is plenty of weapons and over 40 vehicles including jump packs and flying machines.
The setting is The Strogg(aliens) have come to earth to harvest our sorry asses and in return earth has put together the global defence force(GDF) to fight them off.
The maps are all objective based with one side either defending or attacking and results in very little camping and tons of mass destruction and mayhem.
I for one am pissed I never new about this game earlier. IGN gave it a rating of 8.5 for what that is worth.
So far the only person other myself that owns the game is Lost so here is hoping a few more join the ranks to defend earth from the evil that is STROGG!

Yeah, I demo'd it. The demo was pretty fun, I think I might pick it up next time I'm at the store. It seems kinda like BF:BC, but the objectives are better then "defend the gold!". Also, I always figured the gameplay on BF:BC was "wonky" becasue it was trying to fit a ton of people in a map. The quake wars demo seemed to handle it pretty well while keeping the framerate and speed up.

Ya the gameplay is very similar to BF:BC and much of the controls are the same but the objective based gameplay is a big difference and makes for a much faster and balanced game. The difference in teams is very noticable but well balanced.

Ok man. I bought it used on teh Ebay for $28. The Gamestappo are still asking $50. It'll probably take a few days to get here, but I'll throw down when it does.
